Back to School!
Dear Parents,
The summer break is now (sadly) over but we have an exciting new term to look forward to. A few brief notes here then just to outline the news headlines...
- We now have our SATS results and I a delighted to say they are up on the results for last year.
- Eight of our Year 8 students have managed to pass their GCSE examinations early.
- Grounds development work continues at Hirst Park. No doubt you will see work in progress.
- Four of our girls have won a Roland Arranger Keyboard for the school. They made the number one spot with their version of 'Bleeding Love' which was recorded in our own studio and released on our own on line recoed label. The competition was both from the UK and Europe so well done to all concerned!
- We all extend a warm welcome to the new members of our teaching staff.
- The students look superb in their new Trust uniforms. Thank you for your efforts with this.
- Several new after school clubs and activites will be starting this year which could include photography and animation. Watch this space!
- The Trust continues it's curriculum development.
- New timetable for the school day and new student responsibilities in school this year.
So a taxing but, as I have said, an exciting year ahead...
